Reminder
*Please have your Seal pup at Starbright by 9:00 a.m. This is a great way for your child to participate in morning discussions that involve classroom kindness, cooperation and daily routine these are wonderful things that I am excited to teach the Seal pups this year.
Please remember to sign your child in/out on the clipboard.

All children must have a child friendly outside shoes with closed toes and socks. (It will help keep children's feet safe when running, bouncing, hopping, etc.) Please make sure your child can put his/her shoes on all by themselves. Here at Starbright we promote independence what a great way for your child to express his/her independence than to put on his/her shoes all by themselves.

All children must have light weight jacket. Even on sunny days. Our weather is unpredictable and children would rather wear their own jacket than a Starbright one.

Even with the weather changing please make sure your child is prepared with appropriate clothing for outside play. Starbright understands the importance of large motor development and what better way for your child to develop these muscles than to go outside twice a day no less than 45 minutes. This is the reason that your child needs to be prepared for the weather that may come upon us.

This is going to be a great year! I am thrilled to have you and your child in the classroom and eager to get to know and your child on an individual basis. I believe seeing the child as a whole will help build our classroom community.

Thursday, September 26 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. is our annual Preschool Parent Night. This is a great opportunity to check out your child's classroom daily activities. We will discuss the goals of the Seal pup classroom. I look forward to seeing you there and I am excited about talking with you on an individual basis.Thank you

Have a great month! Wendy, Jarett and Christina
