Meet the Staff
Starbright Staff
Teachers at Starbright are educated (and certified) to know what the developmental levels of children are. They have the knowledge to set up learning experiences and they interact with the children to extend their thinking and learning skills. All lead teachers at Starbright have been selected for their expertise and enthusiasm in teaching young children. Lead instructors are highly experienced in early childhood education. Most hold a certificate or degree in child development. Many teacher assistants are enrolled at the University of Alaska and participate in education courses.
Starbright was founded by Kim Borgatta, an early childhood specialist.
